Tahoe Tyrol Homeowners Association
Rules and Regulations

Please observe the following community rules and regulations established by the Tahoe Tyrol Homeowners Association. The intent of the Association is to create an environment that can be enjoyed by homeowners, permanent tenants, and vacationing guests.

  • Parking is only allowed in driveways, carports, or garages. Excess vehicles may be temporarily parked at the parking lot by the clubhouse. Please do not park on dirt or the common area as this pollutes the lake! Parking or storage of motor homes, campers, trailers, boats and water craft is prohibited unless in an enclosed garage. Living in any type of recreation vehicle while staying at Tahoe Tyrol is prohibited.
  • The streets in Tahoe Tyrol are city streets and patrolled by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department. The maximum speed limit on both Pine Hill Road and Timber Lane is 25 miles per hour. Also note that Timber Lane is a one-way street with one-way traffic going down hill.
  • Trash containers are provided at each chalet. Curbside pick-up is early Monday morning. Animal invasion of trash occurs frequently, so please do not leave trash out if it is not pick up day and be sure that all garbage is in a sealed container.
  • The wild animals are fun to watch, but please do not feed them. If you encounter a bear, leave it alone and go inside. Remember that although bears do not eat people, they like our garbage.
  • Please refrain from loud music and loud parties as a courtesy to your neighbors.
  • Hanging of towels on balconies is prohibited. There is a coin operated washer and dryer at the office at 3351 Pine Hill Road. There may also be a washer and dryer in the chalet that you have rented.
  • The use of the pool and recreation area is limited to property owners and rental guests only. You may not invite people who are not part of your party staying at Tahoe Tyrol to use the facilities. The recreation area is open from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. The pool is open during the summer months only and the spa and sauna are open year round. Entry to the recreation area is by Schlage key.
  • Please be advised that there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool and spa and that individuals assume the risk for any injuries while using these facilities. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when using any of the facilities at the clubhouse. Parents are responsible for any destruction or vandalism caused by their children.
  • Insurance regulations prohibit alcoholic beverages in the recreation area. For safety, no glass containers are allowed in the pool and spa area. All posted pool and spa rules must be obeyed.
  • All barbecue fires must be completely extinguished after each use. Open fires are not permitted. Used coals and fireplace embers should only be disposed of in a metal container. To prevent forest fire, care must also be taken with your cigarettes, cigars, and matches.
  • Hiking is permitted in the woods within Tahoe Tyrol. Please use extreme caution with cigarettes and do not leave any trash. Do not cut, trim or in any way harm the natural growth in Tahoe Tyrol nor feed or disturb the wild animals.
